Sa principale source d\u2019inspiration se situe en Ardenne, mais l\u2019influence des impressionnistes fran\u00e7ais fut d\u00e9terminante. Ce tableau repr\u00e9sente (notice \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re et sur le cadre)) la Chapelle ND de Luxembourg \u00e0 La Roche et est dat\u00e9e (\u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re et sur le cadre) de 1952.
